The Citizen CT-S851 Front Exit thermal receipt printer is a series of Citizen "Intelligent" receipt printers providing high speed thermal receipt printing with a back lit graphic LCD display that communicates messages to the operator. The Citizen CT-S851 Front Exit thermal receipt printer is compatible with all previous Citizen thermal receipt printers with auto-cut and other competitive manufacturer brands using ESC/POS emulation including Epson POS and Bixolon Samsung. The Citizen CT-S851 Front Exit thermal receipt printer has a print speed of 300mm per second, providing exceptionally fast and quiet thermal receipt printing. The LED display on the Citizen CT-S851 Front Exit thermal receipt printer indicates printer status, errors and messages, and has a built in buzzer to provide audible alert that is especially useful in noisy environments. The Citizen CT-S851 two-line LCD display alerts the operator when the paper needs to be changed and if the cover is not closed properly. There are "apps" provided to customize and change or edit the display message on the LCD window. The Citizen CT-S851 thermal receipt printer is highly reliable and the improved paper auto-cut mechanism helps reduce maintenance costs. The CT-S851 Front Exit thermal receipt printer supports 82.5/80 mm, 80/72 mm, 60/54.5 mm, and 58/54 mm wide thermal paper roll widths plus 1D barcode and 2D barcode symbology printing capabilities. The Citizen CT-S851 Front Exit thermal receipt printers memory stores logos, footers, custom fonts, keywords and downloadable custom applications. The Citizen CT-S851 Front Exit thermal receipt printer can be used as a desktop printer or wall-mounted. Windows XP (32 and 64 bit), Windows Vista (32 and 64 bit), Java POS, OPOS and CUPS printer drivers are included. |
